Derbyshire Community Award
Clare has been awarded an Excellence in the Community Award by the Derbyshire County Council. The award was given in recognition of her achievement in becoming a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art after receiving the 2007 Ceramic Futures award. Her early love of ceramics was nurtured by family pottery classes at the Hunloke Centre in Chesterfield. RSA Flying Start Programme
25th June 2007 Clare has been accepted on the RSA sponsored Flying Start Programme. The RSA Flying Start programme is an intensive three-day residential course specifically for graduates from recent UK design and related creative-industry degree courses. The programme is designed to provide participants with knowledge of the fundamentals of business venture planning and business start-up.
