New Ceramic Design Studio!

Clare has moved into her new ceramic design studio. The studio is on Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield and has been purpose built for her to work in. She has now began making her award winning designs for sale in the near future.

Trevor Campbell Award

Clare has been selected as one of only 11 candidates for the 2007 Trevor Campbell Award as part of the Flying Start programme. This award is given to the graduate enterprise that has demonstarted outstanding entrepreneurial skill and development in the six months since the Flying Start programme began.

Derbyshire Community Award

Clare has been awarded an Excellence in the Community Award by the Derbyshire County Council. The award was given in recognition of her achievement in becoming a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art after receiving the 2007 Ceramic Futures award. Her early love of ceramics was nurtured by family pottery classes at the Hunloke Centre in Chesterfield. Without the encouragement and enthusiasm  of the teacher who continues to run the family pottery classes Clare might not have begun the journey to designer success.
