I’m working on some new ideas including a cross stitch font. This might end up playing a part in some new designs…nearly finished it!
I’ve designed the font myself by first developing the curling style and then planning out the pattern on graph paper. Now I’m working on the cross stitch by hand to develop the cross stitch font. I like to start all my designs by working in textiles. I’ve loved sewing and cross stitch since I was a little girl so it’s great to be developing it in news ways for my design career now. Now I can just play around with ideas and see where this cross stitch font takes me!
